Quebec City mosque mobilizes to help the homeless

The Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec (ICCQ), where six worshippers were killed and 19 injured in a gun attack almost a year ago, is mobilizing to help the homeless in Quebec City.
With homeless people facing a particularly harsh winter, ICCQ spokesperson Mahedine Djamai said it is the duty of Muslims and the entire population to care for the poor.
Djamai said the Muslim community was deeply touched by the solidarity Quebecers showed following the Jan. 29, 2017 shooting.
He called on community m
