Police investigate assault in Ahuntsic

A 26-year-old man is recovering from a slash wound across his upper body after a dispute broke out among a group of individuals on Arthur-Lismer St. near Bois-de-Boulogne Ave. in Ahuntsic—Cartierville.
The incident occurred at about 6:40 a.m. What sparked the dispute has yet to be determined.
Police have set up a perimeter at the site of the assault and have called in a canine unit to help in their search for the assailant.
