Pilot project will help police prepare for encounters with autistic people
Montreal police launched a program Wednesday aiming to improve what they say can often be fraught interactions with autistic children. Billed as the first of its kind in Quebec, the program will allow autistic people and their families to submit information aimed at improving the success of police encounters.
