More than 200 cows perish in dairy farm fire in Baie-Saint-Paul

A fire that broke out Wednesday in a dairy farm in Baie-Saint-Paul has left about 250 cows dead.
The Sûreté du Québec was called to the scene about 9 p.m. to respond to a report that a fire had been detected on St. Laurent Rd.
Police say the farm housed 250 cows but only a few were saved from the flames. No humans were injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
