Montreal road closings: Might as well stay home today

Construction work on the Champlain and Mercier bridges will make it difficult to get off the island on Saturday.

Because of work on the new Champlain Bridge and its corridor, access to Highway 15 South off the southbound Décarie Expressway will be closed. The Atwater Ave. and Gaétan-Laberge Blvd. entrances to Highway 15 South will also be closed. The highway will be accessible from Nuns’ Island and from Highway 20 East, coming from Lachine and LaSalle.
