Montreal Pride opens its arms with inaugural Canada Pride events

Pride festivities in Montreal will be bigger and bolder than ever, says the festival’s vice-president Jean-Sébastien Boudreault, as it becomes the first host of a national event that welcomes LGBTQ activists from across the country.
The Quebec government announced Monday it will support the events with a $1.8-million grant.
