Montreal police arson squad caseload grows as another car torched

Another case file concerning a torched vehicle has been handed to the Montreal police arson squad after a car was destroyed by fire late Thursday in the borough of Lachine.
Police say a call to 911 to report a car on fire in alleyway behind Notre-Dame St. and 34th Ave. was received at about 11:45 p.m.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames but the vehicle is a total loss.
