Montreal police arrest two in raids on illegal Lachine "bars"

A man and a woman were arrested in Lachine last Saturday on suspicion they were running two illegal after-hours bars.
Around 50 officers raided the bars just before dawn Saturday, rounding up 35 people and issuing them each a $500 fine. Meanwhile the suspect ringleaders — Vanburn Forest Young, 35, Jacqueline Green, 40 — appeared in court this week on mischief charges and for violating the province’s liquor laws.
