Man assaulted in Montreal North in critical condition

A man was assaulted in Montreal North on Sunday evening and was transported to a hospital where he is in critical condition, Montreal police said.
Police said they received a call around 6:30 p.m. A man, 28, was found lying on the ground with severe wounds to his lower back near Maurice Duplessis and Langelier Blvds.
