Longest-serving councillor still has plenty of fight in him

No man is an island, but Marvin Rotrand comes pretty close.
Rotrand was the sole survivor of his Coalition Montréal party after being re-elected Nov. 5 as city councillor in the Snowdon section of the Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough.
Rotrand, who was officially sworn in Thursday, is the longest-serving Montreal city councillor — albeit with a variety of different parties — having represented the citizens of Snowdon for the last 35 years.
