Les Canadiennes open season with win and loss against Calgary

Les Canadiennes had to settle for a split in their season-opening weekend series against the Canadian Women’s Hockey League rival, the Calgary Inferno.
A third-period goal by Sarah Lefort gave Les Canadiennes a 2-1 victory at Place Bell on Saturday. The game was played after the Laval Rocket-Binghamton game. Rookie Maude Gélinas opened the scoring for the home side while U.S. Olympic gold medalist Brianna Decker scored for Calgary.
The Inferno bounced back for a 3-1 win Sunday in a
