Leaf blowers could face summer restrictions in Beaconsfield

Beaconsfield is polling its residents about the noisy issue of leaf blowers.
The city commissioned the polling firm Léger Marketing to conduct a telephone survey this month to gauge public opinion after some citizens complained about noise and pollution caused by leaf blowers.
Beaconsfield Mayor Georges Bourelle said once the survey results are tabulated, the city council will determine if the use of noisy leaf blowers should be restricted during summer months.
