Laval residents take dim view of public marijuana use, survey suggests
A survey conducted by the city of Laval of its residents’ attitudes toward marijuana suggests most of those residents want public consumption of the soon-to-be-legalized drug to be strictly controlled and, in some cases, banned altogether.
In fact, more than half of respondents don’t think cannabis should be legalized.
The survey of 400 respondents was conducted March 29-April 2 to prepare local ground rules on where the drug can be consumed and sold once it’s legal to do so. M
