Lauzon honoured for rescuing elderly lady from house fire

Daniel Lauzon, a town councillor in Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, was recently honoured for an act of bravery two years ago.
At the 31st Tribute to Good Citizenship ceremony on Nov. 7, Lauzon was presented with the Medal of Citizenship by Quebec’s Minister of Justice Stéphanie Vallée in recognition of his courageous act.
Lauzon’s act of bravery dates back to the afternoon of March 17, 2015, when he and his wife were on their way to their home in NDIP.
When the
