Quebec Justice Minister Stéphanie Vallée has decided not to run in the general election on Oct. 1, a reliable source has told the Presse Canadienne.
Thus far, Vallée is the only member of Premier Philippe Couillard’s 30-minister cabinet to indicate she will be leaving politics after this term. However some of her cabinet colleagues are in the process of considering their political future and may take the same step.
