Hôtel-Dieu evacuated as fire breaks out Monday afternoon

Fifteen fire trucks and 50 firefighters were called to the Hôtel-Dieu to battle a fire that started Monday afternoon.
Flames were first seen at around 2:25 p.m. and the building was being evacuated.
“The fire started on the roof, where there was renovation work,” Benoit Martel, chief of operations for the Montreal fire department said.
