Greenfield Park dépanneur clerk in custody after robbery suspect stabbed

A convenience store clerk in his 50s may face a charge of armed assault after a robbery suspect was stabbed Sunday night after fleeing the scene of a crime.
Longueuil police answered a 911 call placed at about 9 p.m. concerning a robbery at a dépanneur on Lawrence St. in Greenfield Park.
Arriving at the scene, police discovered the clerk had allegedly chased and stabbed the suspect in the robbery and apparently injured a passerby who tried to intervene.
