Fête nationale committee apologizes for parade float race controversy

Two days after video of a float during Montreal’s Fête nationale parade caused controversy because of the image of black men pushing a float surrounded by white people, the committee for Fête nationale celebrations in Montreal has issued a statement on its website apologizing for the unintentional image it showed.
