Former Bloc MPs aim to start a new party
OTTAWA — The seven members of Parliament who walked away from the Bloc Québécois in February are launching a consultation tour with the eventual goal of founding a new political party to defend the interests of Quebecers.
“The Bloc Québécois that you knew and that we joined and devoted so much energy to unfortunately doesn’t exist anymore,” MP Rhéal Fortin said on Tuesday.
