Five days in, Ferrandez cedes some executive committee assignments

Plateau-Mont-Royal borough mayor Luc Ferrandez has transferred some of his responsibilities on Montreal’s executive committee to his Verdun counterpart, Jean-François Parenteau, less than a week after assuming the position.
On Monday, Ferrandez was made responsible for large parks, sustainable development, green spaces and large projects.
The environment and sustainable development will now be the responsibilities of Parenteau, who was already responsible for citizen services.
