Fisherman found dead in St-Lawrence River

Police in Trois-Rivières recovered the body of a fisherman on Wednesday. He had gone missing the day before.
The man’s body was spotted in the St-Lawrence River, on the eastern boundary of Trois-Rivières, by a passerby. 
The 50-year-old, whose identity was not made public, was reported missing near St-Quentin Island, near the Kruger-Wayagamack paper mill. The body had drifted about eight kilometres.
His disappearance was reported late Tuesday evening. Searches that night
