Environment Canada issues rainfall warning for Montreal area

Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning on Tuesday morning for the Montreal Island and Laval areas.
A total of 25 to 35 millimetres of rain is expected. Precipitation is to begin Tuesday evening and continue through to Wednesday night.
The agency is warning that flooding in low-lying areas is possible. 
The warning follows a special weather statement issued Monday that noted a “spring storm” was expected to roll into Quebec on Tuesday.
