Ontario Premier Doug Ford warned Wednesday that a victory for the Parti Québécois in the next Quebec election would be a “disaster” for Canada. He said the remarks as provincial leaders gathered in Ottawa for a meeting of the Council of the Federation with Prime Minister Mark Carney amid renewed trade-war rattling by U.S. President Donald Trump. The PQ, under leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, has recommitted to holding a third referendum on Quebec independence while rema
