Despite elections, municipalities watching Quebec government

Despite municipal elections being held across Quebec, the Quebec Federation of Municipalities says it will closely monitor the new season of the Quebec National Assembly.
Federation president Richard Lehoux, who is not seeking another mandate as mayor of St-Elzéar, in the Beauce region, said he intends to be the organization’s watchdog. His term as president of the federation will end in January.
