Denis Coderre pledges funding for the creation of green alleyways

Mayor Denis Coderre promised Saturday to create a $4-million program for green alleyways.
Making a campaign appearance in the Villeray—St-Michel—Parc-Extension borough with local candidates, the mayor said the funds would help residents of other districts turn their laneways green, as residents in the Plateau and Rosemont district have already done.
Under the program, local boroughs would be able to submit applications for green lane projects.
