Deadly Montreal vehicle fire now a suspected suicide

Just hours after saying they suspected mechanical failure played a role in a vehicle fire that left one person dead late Tuesday, Montreal police are now examining the possibility the incident was a suicide.
Firefighters were called to the intersection of Vanden Abeele St. and St. François Rd. in St-Laurent’s industrial park around 11:15 p.m. and found a Polaris Slingshot, a three-wheeled hybrid vehicle designated as a motorcycle for road use, engulfed in flames.
