Commuter train strikes man near St-Bruno station; service cancelled

A man in his 30s was hit by a train near the St-Bruno station of the Réseau de transport métropolitain’s St-Hilaire commuter line.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. Thursday just after the train left the St-Bruno station toward St-Hilaire.
The incident took place on tracks across the highway from the Promenades St-Bruno shopping complex.
Longueuil Police said the man was in a critical state about 9 a.m.
