Canadiens send Nikita Scherbak to AHL's Laval Rocket

The Canadiens have assigned forward Nikita Scherbak to the AHL’s Laval Rocket, the club announced Monday.
He has played seven games since rejoining the club on Feb. 2, scoring a goal and two assists.
The move was likely made because some injured players are nearing a return. Phillip Danault has been skating with the team and on Sunday, Andrew Shaw flew to Philadelphia and will practice with the team Monday.
