Armed fugitive surrenders after four-hour stand-off

A fugitive described as armed and dangerous held police at bay for four hours Sunday at a Victoriaville shopping centre before surrendering at about 9:30 p.m.
Jimmy Côté, 44, had been sought by police in connection with the theft of firearms. A tip from from the public let the Sûreté du Québec track down Côté to the La Grande Place des Bois-Francs shopping centre.
