Anglo for Quebec independence to seek PQ nomination
The founder of a group trying to rally Quebec anglophones to the cause of independence will announce on Monday she intends to seek to be the Parti Québécois candidate in the Montreal riding of Ste-Marie—St-Jacques, the Presse Canadienne has learned.
Jennifer Drouin, 40, is a native of Nova Scotia, the founder of Anglophones pour un Québec indépendant and has been a PQ supporter for nearly 20 years.
