Alex Galchenyuk's hat trick leads Canadiens to road win over Islanders

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Paul Byron scored his 16th goal at 8:10 of the third period to put the Canadiens ahead for good and they went on to beat the New York Islanders 6-3 Friday night at the Barclays Center. Byron snapped a 3-3 tie when he scored from the slot after Jaroslav Halak stopped Brendan Gallagher’s wraparound attempt.
