After losing REM contract, Bombardier workers seek meeting with Couillard

Worried over the future of Bombardier’s plant at La Pocatière, local politicians, businesspeople and workers are seeking an emergency meeting with Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard after losing out on a major contract for Montreal’s $6.3-billion electric commuter train project.
The call for a meeting is based on comments by Couillard this month that were would soon be work and other contracts for the plant, even though Bombardier was not awarded any contracts for the construct
