5 arrested in Laval restaurant robbery investigation

Laval police investigators, acting as part of an investigation nicknamed ‘Gazelle’, conducted several searches and arrested five people last week, La Presse reports. They now face charges of theft and fraud.
These arrests took place as Laval and Montreal police are teaming up to put a stop to a network of pickpocket robberies targeting restaurants.
