Construction starting on Essex County roads

Expect delays and detours on some of Essex County’s main roads as construction season begins.
There will be lane restrictions on County Road 20 in Amherstburg and Leamington, and in Lakeshore, parts of  County Road 22 and County Road 2 will be closed this spring to the end of June.
The County of Essex is advising drivers that County Road 20 will have lane restrictions between Middle Side Road and Elm Avenue for sewer construction by the Town of Amherstburg until July 1.
