She lost her battle with stomach cancer at the Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. Alma was born Dec. 11, 1939, in Delta, Colorado, to Rollie and Nancy (Harris) Flaiz. There were four children in the family: Bill, Alma, Thelma and Patsy.
