Fire Department evacuates City Hall

Staff evacuated from Airdrie City Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 13 as the smell of smoke and something burning filled the building.
At 11:08 a.m., the Airdrie Fire Department (AFD) responded to the report with thirteen firefighters.
Upon entering the building, fire crews found a pungent, burning odour but no visible smoke or fire.
They conducted a thorough search of the interior floors and exterior roof area.
