Airdrie earns prize as Alberta's Most Active Community in 2026 ParticipACTION Community Challenge

Airdrie has earned the title of Alberta’s most active community in the 2026 ParticipACTION Community Challenge.The challenge encourages physical activity in the community throughout the month of June and aims to name Canada’s most Active Community. Airdrie was one of 387 communities to participate in the challenge across Canada and earned $10,000 for being named one of the 13 provincial/territorial winners. Quebec City was named the national winner.“I’m incredibly proud
