Wildfire northeast of Princeton under control, Tulameen fires continue to burn

Two fires close to Princeton continue to burn while one is under control.
On Thursday, Aug. 27, BC Wildfire Service deemed the 3.2 hectare blaze northeast of Princeton, close to Red Creek as under control.However, northwest of Princeton, two wildfires remain out of control in the Tulameen area.
The Holm Creek wildfire reached an estimated 49.16 hectares in size on Thursday. BCWS hasn’t updated the blaze since 8:38 a.m. on Aug. 27.
