Wildfire north of Harrison under control

After five days, the Tretheway Creek wildfire on the north side of Harrison Lake is under control.According to the B.C. Wildfire Service, “under control” is one step above being ruled as “out.” It means the fire is not likely to spread beyond its current boundaries.Witnesses say a logging crew started work against the fire approximately 30 hoursbefore wildfire crews arrived.
