‘Widespread smoke’ decreased fire behaviour at Bradley Creek blaze

As the Bradley Creek wildfire continues to burn, it slowed down on Thursday, Aug. 6.
“Widespread smoke from other fires burning across the province and south of the border remained in the area,” stated BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) in its Thursday night update. “This moderated the expected forecast by limiting solar heating and helping to decrease fire behaviour.”
On Thursday, the blaze displayed Rank 1 and 2 fire behaviour.
