UPDATE: Wildfire north of Harrison Hot Springs ‘being held’

Two days after it was discovered, the Tretheway Creek fire on the northwest side of Harrison Lake is being held.
According to the B.C. Wildfire Service, the fire is listed as “being held” on Friday (July 24) evening. The fire growing from 1 hectare to about 2.35 hectares overnight, but BCWS states that it is not expected to grow beyond its current perimeter if current conditions continue.
