Update: Rockslide near Hope closes Hwy. 9 and Hwy. 7

The rockslide near Hope has closed Highway 7 and Highway 9 in both directions.The road has been closed between Ross Road and the Highway 9 junction near Agassiz to assess the damage caused by the rocks.Updates to follow.

A rockslide has closed Highway 7 one km west of the Haig Scale near Hope.
The rockslide took place Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 10, between the 7 Day Adventist Youth Camp Road and Ross Road.
The road has been closed to assess the damage.
