UPDATE: Evacuation order continues for rural Beaton properties, amid Johnson Creek wildfire

Five properties near the rural community of Beaton remain on evacuation order along the Incomappleux Forest Service Road (FSR) and Fish River Road, due to the growing Johnson Creek wildfire.
The City of Revelstoke issued the order at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, on behalf of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District’s Area B, and on the advice of BC Wildfire Service (BCWS).
