UPDATE: Emergency crews called to Cultus Lake where 13-year-old possibly drowned

Emergency crews were called out to Cultus Lake for a possible drowning of a girl on Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened around 1:20 p.m. at Entrance Bay on Aug. 8.
“The 13-year-old youth was reportedly floating on a paddleboard when she is believed to have suffered a medical emergency,” RCMP stated in a press release. “The youth was not wearing a life jacket and is believed to have entered the water as she fell off of the paddleboard.”
