UPDATE: Brunswick complex fires grow to over 11,000 hectares

The Brunswick Complex wildfires along the Fraser Canyon have sprawled to a combined size of over 11,000 hectares as of Wednesday morning (July 8).
According to the latest update from BC Wildfire Service (BCWS), the Brunswick Creek fire has grown to 2,623 hectares and the Ainslie Creek fire has grown to 8,846 hectares.
“High winds and hot, dry conditions drove extreme fire behaviour and fire growth (Tuesday) resulting in a significant increase in fire size,” the update reads.
BCWS sai
