UPDATE: Bald Range wildfire west of Summerland grows, ‘challenging day’ ahead

The Bald Range wildfire has grown to an estimated to 13,618 hectares in size, according to the BC Wildfire Service.
BCWS said the blaze saw increased behaviour to the south last night on Aug. 8.“Last night, poor overnight recoveries were observed on the Bald Range Wildfire, with relative humidity around 33%. The south end of the fire, along with the Fish Lake Road and Garnet Valley Road areas, continued to experience increased fire behaviour overnight,” it said.Aug
