United Way seeks donations for B.C. wildfire recovery fund

United Way BC is putting the call out for financial donations to help the thousands of people in B.C. currently under wildfire evacuation orders and alerts.
People are being asked to donate to the United for BC Wildfire Recovery Fund which provides immediate and long-term support for nearly 10,000 people in several communities affected by about 90 wildfires province-wide.The fund provides assistance not only during emergencies, but throughout the months and years of recovery that follow.
