Ticket issued after dump truck passes stopped school bus in Abbotsford

A $368 fine was issued after a dump truck passed a stopped school bus with its warning lights flashing in Abbotsford last week.
The Abbotsford Police Department said its traffic enforcement unit launched an investigation after a video circulated on social media.
The video generated “significant public concern and discussion”. It showed the dump truck passing a stopped school bus on Lefeuvre Road while the bus’s red warning lights were activated and its stop signs were deployed.
