‘Significant delays’ expected on Coquihalla Highway during long weekend: B.C. Gov

The B.C. Day long weekend is here, and one of the province’s busiest highways is expected to be just that.
On Friday, July 31, the provincial government warned travellers should prepare as ‘significant delays’ are expected on the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt.
“A section of Highway 5 between Exit 250 and Exit 256 is undergoing major drainage construction,” stated the government release. “Lane closures will be in place in the area due to hazards withi
