Seven out-of-control fires burn in Cariboo on Thursday

As of Thursday morning, there are seven out-of-control wildfires burning in the Cariboo that are being tackled by the BC Wildfire Service (BCWS).The most significant is the Pear Lake wildfire of note, which, as of the morning of July 30, is sized at 73,217 hectares. This fire between Highway 97 and Marble Range Park has six evacuation orders and four evacuation alerts associated with it, including evacuation orders for the Village of Clinton and 70 Mile House. There is an incident management tea
